How the Procedure Works

1. Single Incision

A 3-5 cm single incision is made in the axillary region (between the 4th or 5th ribs).

2. Camera Placement

An HD camera and instruments are introduced through the same incision.

3. Procedure

Wedge resection, lobectomy, segmentectomy, pneumonectomy, or other procedure is performed.

4. Drainage & Closure

A chest tube is placed and the skin is closed with absorbable subcutaneous sutures.
